Copynotes: Dr. Prescott writes (7/13/10): "This copy is an embroidered 1596 but with some pages, says the seller, from 1590. I'm not expert enough to know. That's the one with just wonderful marginalia, esp. the poem on Spenser on which I did an article." Note that Dr. Prescott plans to give this to the Folger in the near future.
Editionnotes: In verse. Printer’s name from STC. "The second part of The faerie queene" has separate dated title page, pagination, and register. This edition omits the sonnets at the end of the 1590 edition. Signatures: A-2O⁸, A-2I⁸ 2K⁴. Copy filmed at UMI microfilm Early English Books, Tract Supplement reel E4 has title page to "The second part of the Faerie Queene" only. Pt. 2 entered 20 January [1596]
